If you judge black people by the looters and rioters you see on TV you are called a racist.
Then why is it OK to judge the entirety of police officers by the actions of a few bad ones?
In many/most cases the ones who are doing the judging are the same ones who are protesting being judged themselves based on prejudices.
Why is one pretty girl popular and another pretty girl isn't? Why is something in fashion one year and then totally absurd next year?
Cultural narrative and the human need for acceptance. That's why.
If you side with the cultural narrative, you belong to the cool kids clique. If you go against the cultural narrative, you're an unpopular dork.
Cultural narrative says judging all cops based on one cop's actions is cool, so everyone is trying to be cool. Cultural narrative says judging any black person for any reason is uncool, and nobody wants to be uncool.

Ok then tell us your race so we can have a crack at it.
Should I call all white folk the Unibomber?
How about Jeffery Dahmers? Do you freeze and eat people?
What type of serious response do you expect from that line of thinking?

It isn't, as long as all groups are measured the same way.

This is so true! As an example, many of our "experts" who were so sure a few weeks ago that going the beach would kill people now say it's suddenly it's OK to have mass protests as along as you get to show you are part of the cool group.

I never said it was correct in either case.
I think it IS wrong to judge a group by it's worst members and that goes for black people and the police.
You can't say it's wrong to judge black people by looting or leftists by Antifa and then turn around and judge the majority of police officers by the actions of a few bad ones.

B/c we're not out here lying on behalf of the looters to get them off. Do you see Al Sharpton (your favorite whipping boy) going on TV saying those looters actually bought those TVs and have receipts? No. That's why we freely label LEO as corrupt. Even if they aren't guilty, they are more than willing to lie to cover up for the guilty.
