You do know though that that number was pulled from thin air, right? Whether or not it was actual billing. If it was actual billing, it was billing for a tiny fraction of that in care at fair and reasonable rates.

Hospital billing is a shakedown no different than Al Capone or Bugs Moran's standard modus operandi, except that it uses people's worst fears for their life rather than machine guns for coercion. And, when you stop and think about it, that's not a difference at all.

It is the most corrupt industry in the history of man that has managed to stay legal for decades. They built an insurance system that was a bottomless pit full of gold for many years in America's heyday. But the world is changing fast....and in America even faster. That pit is nearly empty now with no resupply in sight. Their game is soon to be history.

But the problem with the test is, if it was negative, there was almost as much chance that you did have the disease, as if you didn’t have the disease.

So if someone showed all of the classic symptoms of the COVID infection, you had to assume they were positive, even if the test said negative.

The alternative would be to stick someone who was extremely likely to have the disease, with people that are most likely NOT to have the disease. That is the worse of the two choices.

I have noticed with this disease, and the overcrowding of the hospitals, there are many many instances where the choices were “horrible” VS “even worse than horrible”. So the “horrible” choice is picked, and there is always someone waiting in the wings to say that it was a horrible thing to do.

But unless you understand what is going on, most people don't realize that as bad as it was, it was the best available choice at the time.
Yeah you’ve got some good points there

Of course I know they way over charge! Then why are so many closing? We still need hospitals even if you hate them!

Thank you. And please don't get me wrong. I am not saying that no mistakes were made. That would be extremely unlikely in that atmosphere. I just don’t believe there was nefarious intent, like these you tubers claim. Everyone was doing the best they could with the limited resources they had, under the most stressful situation imaginable.
