Same message from around 7 generals now, what do they know about the purpose of the military.
Given their constant advocating for getting our nose in world affairs, meaning sending troops to about everywhere, seems they know jack squat about the purpose of the military.

They should know that the Military's Commander in Chief is not any of them but the President of the United States, Donald Trump, who was democratically elected.
They should know that any public statements by any of them individually, but especially collectively, will be seen as undemocratic Deep State interference in domestic politics.
An act that they have no more political currency on which to spend if they care about preserving public faith in democracy. A democracy that they were sworn to defend.
A democracy, along with lives, that lawless rioters threaten in the context of a politically suppressed Police Force.
In other words, if the Civilian governments suppresses Police action to secure our streets then military action is more than warranted.
The only other option is Civilian Civil War, and the generals and other "defenders of democracy" should not want that.
They need to do their duty and support both democracy and the military's leader through showing support for Donald Trump. If they dissent, for whatever subversive or irrational reason, then their specific former positions demand that they do it quietly to their wives and not to the public for situations like this. Again, they were not the democratically elected ultimate Commanders of anything and they don't lead any force anymore. But they do have a continued political responsibility not to undermine this nation's military Commander in times of crisis.
If Civilian leaders don't want the military in our streets, then they cannot put property and lives at risk by suppressing Police responses and allowing rioting.
It is an A B choice for our civilian leaders. They made the wrong choice.
I'd love to see the OP confront this guy face to face...Internet tough guys are really a joke..And yes, Captain bone spurs is who we all should admire in a leader, this entire thread is simply the raging of an unhinged mind.

And those troops continuing to be deployed says the same about the POTUS.
