The Oscar viewing party I go to each year will probably be cancelled this year just because of social distancing and all that and will probably not happen anymore. It's a good time to call it quits.

This will be good for the movie industry in the long run by reducing the influence of the Academy.

It will lead to a new golden era of creativity.

So will they implement quotas based on skin color and ethnic heritage? Will they create catagories for blacks, latinos, south East Asians, and western Asians? Will they implement a racial quota for those judging the films? Will they get viewers from outside the news and entertainment industry?

Do yourself a favor, avoid the movies and pick up a book while you are still allowed to choose which ones you're allowed to read.
