-Defunding and in some cases calls to abolish the police, which will cause increases in crime and the emboldenment of criminals.
- Police being attacked, cursed at, spit on and killed just for wearing the uniform with absolutely no inclination they have done anything wrong to warrant being attacked.
- Forgiving bail for rioters, not prosecuting them.
- Letting dangerous criminals out of jail for Covid.
Let me see if I get this logic correct.. our society, through due process and an judgement of peers has found people dangerous enough to be removed from society but because of the coronavirus, their welfare takes precedence over the safety of the community. So if a murderer gets released for covid and goes and murders someone, what about the consideration for the safety of that victim?

I agree, and I'm not a screaming liberal by any means, but a centrist person. Yes: in 2016, I voted for her but in 2020, I’ll vote for Trump unless Biden picks a centrist with an extremely likable personality, the right leadership skills, and the right platform to take over as I believe Biden will resign due to health within 6 months.

Your thread title asks about liberals but here you're asking moderate Democrats, so it's a little confusing.
For years I've posted that the lunacy of far left liberals has moved me from a more liberal position to a moderate one.
I've absolutely had it. I'm done with the idiocy, the hypocrisy, the way our politicians use people for their purpose and don't really represent us, the virtue signaling, the witch hunts, and all the rest of the noise with no solutions to real problems we're all faced with. The Democratic party consists of either old, out of touch liars or younger, extremist liars. And far left liberal SJW's engaging in witch hunts to ruin people, aren't a group I want to be associated with either.
The straw that broke the camel's back for me was watching the cities in our country destroyed in an orchestrated effort by Democrats. Yes, I do believe Democrats are behind this and that's why they don't criticize BLM and the reason mayors of these cities did nothing to stop the rioting and looting. They're trying to be divisive with this and create chaos. The effort to reduce or eliminate police departments is meant to step up destabilizing the country. And I know they're doing this because it's an election year. So to hell with we, the people. To hell with our cities, businesses and jobs. All they care about is winning in November. There will be one crisis after the next until election day - I suspect the next one will be a spike in Coronavirus cases.
I'm finally seeing that the Democrats are as evil as the Republicans. They don't care about us or about social justice. They use organizations like the KKK and BLM, as well as laws and social programs to do their dirty work while they pretend to care about the disenfranchised. They're as hawkish and self-serving as conservatives. They're disingenuous and cringe-worthy with their pandering - such as kneeling while wearing African scarves, as if they cared about Floyd or the issue itself - all while doing nothing meaningful to bring about change.
I'm without a party now. I don't know what I'm going to do in November, but I'll never vote for Hillary or Biden - I know that much. I may sit this one out.
