Post your thoughts as to what happens if Trump loses the popular vote and wins the electoral college by a sliver, let's say less than 10 total votes or in the dream scenario, wins by 1 vote with Pence casting the tie breaking vote. This scenario could make the recent riots look like an episode of Mr. Rogers.
Would the left go ballistic and burn down the country? Would civil war ensue? Would any democrat like Obama step in and say enough is enough?
Nothing would happen. The circus would continue. More bail-outs, more spending, more blame-shifting, more credit claiming, more moronic tweets, more attacks on the media more lock-downs, more riots, more people laughing at the US...... the same old.....
It is not clear that Joe Biden has enough of a following to generate this sort of a response. He is a placeholder for the Democrat left establishment political technocrats - the wannabee new "deep state" - that would actually be running things, if he were to happen to win.
How many Democrat voters will truly be voting for Joe Biden, rather than just voting for the opponent to Donald Trump, or for whoever the candidate is with the "D" next to their name? Probably not very many.
Joe Biden is very possibly the most cynical political nominee for a major party we have seen in our lifetimes. He is a placeholder. He cannot do the job, except as a rubber stamp who approves or denies whatever his handlers tell him to approve or deny. Democrat voters do not passionately care about this guy, the way many of them did about the prospect of the first female president in 2016.
What does Joe represent on his own that the country will be missing if he were to not become President in 2021, aside from not being President Trump, or not being the Democrat party nominee for President? Seriously, if there is anything that really recommends this guy beyond these two things, and if you want to stretch it his connection with Obama, I sincerely do not know what that could possibly be.
If the Democrats are smart, they will focus on the vulnerable senate seats. If 2018 is any indication in which direction the nation is headed? The senate could flip in 2020. If Trump manages to lie cheat and steal his way in, he will be a lame duck with a blue house and senate majority. He may even be impeached and removed this time.
