Though...Interesting Democrats don’t have a problem with the Statue of Communist Mass Murderer Lenin still standing in Seattle Washington.
Quote:
Boston’s mayor is in favor of taking down a local statue of President Abraham Lincoln standing before a freed black man, after a petition was launched for its removal, his office says.
The entire thing is almost like a science fiction movie. First, a virus is released in America that impacts the brain and infects tens of millions of people; and second, now operating with damaged brains and prone to brainwashing, Americans fall prey to the lie that unarmed blacks are being targeted by police, and thus they start destroying statues of Lincoln, Jefferson, and Washington - along with famous abolitionists* - burning down buildings, looting stores; whites kneel down and wash the feet of blacks; and, in a final fit of rage, demand that police be abolished and set up an anarchy zone in Seattle.
* is the monument to John Brown in Harper’s Ferry still standing? Shhhhh......don’t tell the idiots about that one, or it will be gone too.
Guess all images with black men kneeling below white men will have to go. Look for scenes from movies with black shoe shine boys to be edited out next.

Erasing History one monument at a time...memories fade, events erased. The cyclical nature of history.
Keeping it alive ensures that the evils of the past are remembered and not repeated. Who is yearning to work a cotton field? Not me...
Your post is misleading. It’s not the objection of Lincoln, it the issue with the black man kneeling and being patted on the head. It is kind of creepy and I see how it would bother some people because it’s got that dog and owner vibe to me.
Maybe some statues need to be removed. But also, maybe some bad things of the past should be kept, like Auschwitz, as a remembrance of what not to do. It should be debated.
The problem I have is that the ONLY people who have a say are those willing to venture into a Covid-spreading mob and violently tear things down. This should be done in a civilized way--with debate, discourse, and consensus. I hate mob rule!
