You are living in a fantasy world. 1000 people dying every day, cases rising in many states and bracing for a second wave which will surely come. How can you say the virus is over?
Oh yeah, I remember now. The President told us it would magically disappear in April. And the other day he said if we did no more testing there would be very few or no new cases. So just stick your head in the sand and all is well!
Those people are dying anyway and that is a normal process for OLD and SICK people, many if not most in NURSING HOMES! This Virus panic and the destructive LOCK DOWN needs to end NOW. You're living in Democrat/MEDIA HELL. Break out of your jail and cast off your chains!
I read the op-ed below and here were the phrases that jumped out at me:

In short, American has lost the respect and admiration of the world. We're a laughingstock now. We're the only country in the world that has plateaued at roughly 20,000 new cases per day. We'll spend the rest of our days wearing masks and social distancing and opening and shutting down as the coronavirus steamrolls us into oblivion. Oh sure, we'll go on. 350 million people won't disappear over the next 10 years. But what I read and see on TV in foreign news markets is that America's 250 year run has come to an end as it slowly descends from 1st world status into 3rd.
Only 3 out of 53 countries in the world think that the US dealt with the pandemic better than China. The rest think China wins this contest. Those three are, not surprisingly, the US itself, taiwan (lap dog chinese traitors who desperately need the us for survival) and S Korea (same). So....yeah.
The virus is pretty much over and we won't make that huge mistake again. This faux Democrat/Media created Racism issue is also temporary to create pre election CHAOS. When Trump is reelected the Left will go back to their other Fake issue, Man Made Climate Change.
How can you say that? Hospitalizations are skyrocketing in 21 states

States that aren't being hard hit are the least dense ones out here in the west. Large populations centers where crowds tend to gather will start the much anticipated 2nd wave in a matter of months if not weeks.
CDC predicts 200,000 deaths by end of September. They were wrong the first time. The death count was much higher by end of May than they anticipated.

Pretty much over with an uptick in 21 states? Hospitals in some states are now worrying that they'll have the resources to handle it. Some businesses that have opened have had to close again because of this virus. Some places still don't have the customers they used to pre-Covid so many people still aren't taking a lot of chances. Dream on.

Coronavirus is a world wide problem, but somehow you have convinced yourself (although the media helped you a lot) that Trump made it worse than it needed to be and America is now in a period of decline which only a Democrat President may reverse.

Just curious. What do you make of Taiwan's response to Covid? They never shut down their economy. Their leaders never lied about it allowing it to spread, and they stopped nearly dead in its tracks with only 7 deaths. I guess following the science is what? Stupid? I guess having a VP that's an epidemiologist vs a religious bigot that has to ask mother is what? Dumb? It's not the medias fault that over 100,000 American's and counting of all ages are dead because of Trump's lies and botched response. Why don't you ask dear leader why he doesn't give a rats arse about his rally rats by having them sign a form stating that they won't sue if they get Covid from the no mask required rally. Don't worry. There's enough Covidiots out there spreading it for you to blame on the media and everybody else besides who's really at fault here.
Are we in decline in America? Does bigger than depression era unemployment mean anything? So which response would have been better for America? A swift and aggressive response that never shut down the economy, or a lied about botched one that fueled what could be another great depression? You have no respect for yourself? Really. So typical of the Trumpians that don't like something that goes against what Fox news spoon feeds you.
