LOL a lot of asian americans have actually adopted urban black street culture.
is not the asian americans who are successful, but the FOB asians. Their kids grow up here, and usually end up living on their parents dime, having to networked with another group who will pay them for sitting in an office and playing on computer.
And no doctor does not make you a success because you need the money to get set on the path. Once on the path is pretty much set. Its all because of the people who pay for it.
I don't know why people act like the world isn't changing rapidly. People pretend like the world has been the same forever, but do they know that white Americans had high rates of homicide from the inception of America until the 1930s. Crime rates have change and keep changing over time, most neighborhoods are half as violent as they were 20 years ago. While things have been escalating this summer crimes in absolute numbers continue to drop.

The only way someone adopts a culture is being born into it, if you want all the African Americans to act like Asians the only way that would happen is if they were born in Asia in a 99% Asian neighborhood, and then moved over to America around the 9th grade. You simply just don't adopt a culture.
Also noone here knows anything about African American culture, 28.5% of all black men have been to prison in 1997. It is high, yes but it isn't even close to the majority, 70% of African American Men had never been to prison at the peak of the crime wave that had swept the nation from 1970-2000. We are already over the hump, while murder rates have sadly been fluctuating crime which impacts everyday people more than murder has been dropping solidly. By 2030 all crime might be at 1960 levels. So the culture change is there and society has only been rapidly improving as a whole.

Yeah, all races have increased out of wedlock kids since 1940 or so, but blacks went up from 13% to like 73% at one point. White rates never hit 30%.
Banning alcohol caused more violence like with Capone, but nowhere near the violence we routinely see in the inner city, choices?

In 1967, when Daniel Patrick Moynihan said that black illegitimacy presented a threat to black socioeconomics, the black rate was already 27% and at that time the white rate was less than 5%. Today the black rate is 74% and the white rate near 30%. That means that the black rate is about 3 times higher than in 1967 but the white rate, today, is about 6 times higher.
The increase in out of wedlock births and its sibling single parent homes, since the 50's, has been an AMERICAN PHENOMENON....not just black. Racial oppression made the rate higher for blacks to begin with, which is why they are higher now.

You notice said persons make no differentiation between Blacks who follow the thug/hood rat culture and Blacks who are part of the middle and upper classes?
Yeah, pointing out that there are tons of successful black people...that sounds vaguely familiar...hmm...oh wait, that's right...I keep doing that every time one of these threads pop up.
In fact, in today's episode, I even make a point of saying that if a white, trailer park loser wanted to find success, they should look at any of the COUNTLESS successful black people in America and start copying the common behaviors...since the behaviors that breed success are indeed colorblind.
Any loser out there should find any winner and ask "hmm, wonder what their secret is?" Put those behaviors into practice, watch success happen.
The only phenomenon is government as provider. LBJ's great society, as a follow on to FDR's many well-intentioned, but not well-thought for the long term consequences is the phenomenon. Whether the holler or the hood, fat, dumb and provided for is not healthy for society.

Abandon their current approach (it has failed) and adopt the basics of Asian-American culture, which has proven successful.

great work ethic
Why don't all individuals embrace the non-aggression principle and mind their own business?
