Debate is dead when it comes to the average Trump hater. I have had people both friends and family berate and bully me for simply letting it slip that I like Trump, (note I like him, I don't love him and I will criticize him) but that is not enough, You need to hate the guy with a passion.
I had one loon tell me "I don't care about the facts" and that was the end of the conversation.
Another dumped her anti Trump sentiment and as soon as I opened my mouth to debate she reminded me that we agreed not to talk politics.
I'm too nice.
It really is terrible that this is going on. If you don't agree with the Left they denounce and silence you. We have seen it with the BLM crowd, if you don't kneel then you are a racist. There is no middle ground and to bring it up you risk being fired from your job and ostracized with a scarlett letter "R" for racist branded on your forehead.
