MADISON (WKOW) - Madison's Police chief denies a claim made by a protest leader that detectives asked a teenager who maintained she was the victim of a disturbing, hate crime to recant her story.
Victims are in. This is a platform to create another hero out of a zero.
It's been over two months since the alleged incident occurred. If the media hasn't jumped on it by now, it isn't going to happen. Way too many better "victims" out there. She needs to get a felony conviction and then attempt to take a cops gun away, getting shot in the process. That's how victims are made these days

I keep looking up this case every few weeks.
No leads. No suspects. Nothing.
Why are people so dumb to believe these hoaxes time again? If news reporters were actual journalists these days they'd do some investigating into who is responsible for disproportionate hate crimes in this country ("bias motivated crimes").
Spoiler alert: It's not MAGA hat wearing white men.
I would have hoped the NFL would have been smarter than approving a name that isn't even a proven case and arguably by all information to date is most likely something she made up.
If they say that her statement isn't supported by the evidence then they can be accused of a cover-up or that she was confused and must have been at a different intersection etc. and it's just easier to let it go away.
