Thanks, I don't like to do research for these posters as they are usually on the DNC's payroll or Russian bots. They are seemingly incapable of believing anything that isn't presented to them through the filter of a DNC propaganda wing like the NYT, NPR, ABC, WaPo, Vox, HuffPo, etc.
Because I'm obsessed with finding out the real story with the broken gate. I'm calling it brokengategate. (rather clever, if I do say so myself)
I found this video which gives a good unbiased analysis from a neighborhood news reporter. https://www.stltoday.com/news/multim...a25660e4d.html
Take a look.
It is sort of a non issue though...
When was the gate ever an issue? Aside from basic property damage.
Love to know how your such an expert on Missouri private property rights. It would make us feel so much better about believing what you post. Do tell. Inquiring minds. I myself know very little about that state's laws.
If I am not mistaken property rights can vary from state to state and even by county and city. I would like to hear from someone from Missouri and that county and city.
I lived in 4 states.
1. 2 states were castle doctrine and stand your ground states. No no trespassing signs required, by state law, but some cities might have required them. Both states required some reasonable cause before shooting. They are also open carry. Those folks would have been fine.
2. 2 states were stand your ground states but not open carry for handguns. That said on your own property you can walk around with a gun in your hand all day if you want.
Those people were confronting protestors. I think a reasonable jury would understand why they felt the need to defend their own property. Let's be honest, were BLM protestors go looting, violence and vandalism very often follows.

You don’t have to do any research if your an expert. Extemporaneous works. Are you really an expert? It would help us to layman understand the rule of law.
But you are capable of looking up information via the Internet, right?
Sure, but that is not nearly the same thing as hearing it from someone who does this for a living and knows the nuance. If it was then any shmo could post.

His case rests on it. Points to evil protester that destroy property. It’s his smoking gun. I’m telling you, I’ve watched all the interviews and this is a big deal for him.
Ok. Even if your not a Missouri criminal lawyer, I’ll listen to your opinion if you had to defend yourself in court on similar charges and hired a lawyer. Does that increase the expertises pool on this thread? Doesn’t count if it’s not Missouri bar.

Maybe HE damaged the gate after-the-fact? Video shows the protesters walking through the open undamaged gate.
