Most people in my company can't wait to get back in the office. Of course, that can't happen if kids don't go back to school.
It's healthy to have separation of work from home environment. My stress level has gone way up since I've been working from home, not down. Even though I have a fridge full of beer and I can go out for a walk or bike ride basically whenever I feel like it.
I know its gonna happen. No doubt there will be YEARS (if vaccine isn't developed) of people milking it at home (with good unemployment pay) and Scamming around ever having to be on site at work (those with the luxury) citing its "not safe to return to work" . While the rest of us who actually have to BE AT WORK get hosed over (Much like we are now with no extra bennies)
Since the additional $600/week is going away in another month, I don't know that most people will be getting good unemployment pay.

Sounds like you are bitter & jealous seeing others are working from home, but you are not allowed to.........

One of the problems with voting for a Dem
The country voted for GOP and this is what we got out of it. Astronomical bailouts and money even to those who have been working all this time.
Is there a way to "milk" this and say it's not safe to go back to my job even though I'm still working in the store? I'm supposed to take the test by tomorrow or I won't have a job when they reopen but I don't have an intention to do it so I still haven't done it. I mean my immunity to the virus aside, if the country is that worried about getting the virus reopening my job really doesn't make sense. They reopen my job yet I can't get a job coach because of telecommuting where the places that are telecommuting are more intimate.

I worked from home for 2 months and it was harder than working in the office because I have 3 kids.
I have animals but it would definitely be easier.

When I made money at home, it was only stressful because of the amount of money. It was literally pocket change because it wasn't an actual job. I really enjoyed the one gig I did. It just depends on what the WFH job entails. I did one that was more profitable but I wasn't very good at it so I'd constantly get booted out of the tasks. A lot of formal WFH jobs wouldn't have that problem.
When you work from home, you're never away from work.
As for scamming, the company my wife works for has seen no drop in productivity so they are looking at downsizing the office space required and saving money. People will use the office more like a drop in or shared space office.

Then separate the country into WFH and GTW. Not everybody is you.

Self control and organization helps a lot for those who successfully work from home. Now people are just wanting to make excuses for everything.

I don't work from home and this is more the case than a WFH job would be. Being off the clock isn't off the clock for me..the only thing it means is I'm no longer getting paid.

As long as I had a boss to tell me initially what had to be done, I would be able to do it. I couldn't be an actual manager but I can do things on my own if I have a set task in mind. I've been kinda in charge in a sense with my pandemic duties.
