since the black woman had no weapon, and only slapped the vehicle, there was no legitimate threat, thus no need for possibly deadly force to be brought into the situation. the white woman WWAAAYYYY overreacted. she was already in the vehicle, and was trying to leave. what they should have done is call the cops and waited for them to handle the black woman. instead she pulled a gun and further escalated the issue, and now she is in hot water.
The black woman impeded the white woman's freedom of movement - twice.
First time was getting in the car. Second time was when the vehicle attempted to back out of the spot.
You forfeit your rights when you violate the rights of others. The white woman should be commended for showing great restraint in the face of a violent POS.
The new rule is you can use your gun after receiving bodily harm or death. If you're not dead you might still be prosecuted but you will most likely be aquitted though.
Then people in that state need to change the laws. It was still an irresponsible escalation. That doesn't negate the fact that the black POS woman started it from what we have seen.
It's not so much what the law says as how it is applied. It's not clear beyond a reasonable doubt that the woman wasn't defending herself from impending bodily harm, and there should be no charges. The black woman barely backed off even after a weapon was pointed at her. The black woman likely would've attacked for sure if the white woman was unarmed.
So in your mind the occupant of the vehicle has to remain in the vehicle no matter how much the black racists escalate the situation, which could very easily have continued to the point where they are not satisfied with holding them hostage but instead have one of the black racists go to their car and get a tire iron and bash the windows in or light the car on fire? Just stay inside and take it? Great strategy. No matter what you think, the innocent pregnant woman is alive today, no injuries and baby intact. At most she will plead to something in which she spends no time in jail. That is a much better outcome than what may have happened if she did not stop that angry racist mob.
Let idiots act like idiots and get yourself home in one piece. Call the damn cops from your car while blocking their car from leaving if need be. None of what you are saying happened in this instance. In your scenario run them the hell over if they don't move. For sure don't get out of the damn car. Video the whole damn thing.
It's legal to use deadly force if you honestly and reasonably believe it's necessary to prevent imminent great bodily harm. Question ...
If you're attacked by someone with a knife, pull a gun, point it at the attacker, and the attacker stops -- can you be charged with brandishing if you don't then shoot the attacker.
According to some you can if you are white and the guy with the knife is black.

Maybe she did not have her phone. One thing for sure is that the racist blacks certainly had their phone cued up as they instigated a situation with the innocent white folks with child. That tells me a lot.
