Trump used Chicago as an example of the American carnage and swore he was going to clean it up, but based on the news, things are going in the wrong direction, so he does what he always does: blame-shifting.
Trump has no jurisdiction to clean Chicago up, and when he said that, he didn't know that yet, or was trying to pressure Chicago's mayor to take action.
What do we do with these lost souls who do not value life? The prisons are full. We must get to them early in life.

Oh my.........well, I think cluelessness describes Trump's presidency in a nut-shell.
Miami was the murder-capital of the US during the 1980s cocaine wars, and Reagan used his authority to put an end to it. They had to use refrigerated trucks to store the bodies, because the morgues could not handle the numbers. We had 621 murders in a year and the population of Miami is about one eight of Chicago, so to put it to perspective, it would compare to almost 5000 murders in a city of Chicago's size.
We need a leader who understands what his/her authority is and how to put it into action.

Street gangs are known for not giving a rip about anything or anyone except their turf and their own gang members. This is not a new thing. If the people living in gang infested areas, could move, they would move but most are not in position to move.
Again I agree with you. Lowlifes of every race, those of a violent turn, DGAF. Addicts are similar, they sell their own kids as prostitutes to get drugs...rob their relatives...none of this is race specific it happens everywhere.
The gang aspect is what gets these kids killed though, so I guess one could say eliminate gangs to eliminate this particular aspect of it (bystander kids as victims) but again...how many gang units later are we and is it under control? Naw. Just admit defeat. Truly nothing can really be done to stop this.
If you live in these cities and vote Democrat you may as well be pulling the trigger yourself because it’s going to get worse.
Actually homicides have been cut to about about half since the peak of the 1990s, and since most murders occur in cities, and practically all cities are ran by Dems, then should we give them the credit for such drastic reduction?
I am not a Democrat, but I thought I'd ask you since you are quick to shift blame based on partisan lines. Are you as quick to give credit?

Politicians MIGHT listen to people protesting, but don't expect criminals to listen to anyone. They are beyond reach.

Silly excuses. Protesters supporting Born Losers Matter could march through downtown Chicago. They are all hypocrite clowns. All BLM protesters are. They don’t care about any lives just like you don’t.
Black on Black shootings and violence - Children Killed
Over the 4th weekend and the last few weekend, hundreds and thousands of Blacks have been shot and killed in major Democrat run cities like NYC, Chicago, Atlanta, Baltimore.
There is carnage and violence in the streets in the Black community with countless Black Children being killed. Yet Liberals / Progressives / Democrats call for cutting back on LE when in fact it needs to be increased.
"They say Black Lives Matter. You killed your own... You killed a child.”
Secoriya Williamson, father of 8-year-old Secoriea Turner, addressed the public after his daughter was shot and killed last night in Atlanta by armed protesters.
Evidently based on their actions black lives don’t really matter.
