Well, this is how I see it. I don't want anything bad being done to anyone. However, I'm going to say this. There was a reason Black kids were being bused to White schools, and rarely the other way around. And no, it wasn't to destroy White schools. My father graduated high school before his city did busing. His high school was the worst in the city, and this was in the 1960s/early 1970s. Let's just say schools and Black neighborhoods were often underserved relative to schools in White neighborhoods.
Any damage done, that is law on unintended consequences. Here is a better question. Why were schools in Black neighborhoods often given the worst stuff/castoffs?
