Look if they want to abolish the police outright then maybe they should create their own CHAZ-like place somewhere away from regular citizens and they wouldn't have to worry about the police ever again. How they would protect themselves? Well that would be for them to decide. But since they would be in their own "bubble" so to speak, they won't be dragging everyone else into their own "utopia".
