If you are a Free person, you can say NO, without retaliation from any man or woman.
Today, if one says NO to the wrong government official, they will use violence to force you to comply.

The definition of Freedom & Liberty has drastically changed.

That theory works with a population of civilized citizens. We have a few civilized citizens and a whole lot of ones who belong behind wire mesh with muzzles on.

I'm not quite understanding what you're talking about. Nobody is free to do anything they want, as in, walk into a house and take their computer, without retaliation.

Or sleep on their front porch without permission.

What are you talking about that you could do in your lifetime, that you can't do now?

So, what could you say "no" about to a government official, that you can't anymore?

When one has all their god given rights, that theory works everywhere.
Government has no obligation to protect you, or your property.
You cannot be forced, to protect anyone or their property.
Forcing anyone to do anything against their will, is oppression(bullying), and the entire reason, people have the right and the ability to protect themselves, from all forms of oppression.

Gee, that didn't seem to work when someone wanted to stage a Dog & Pony Show in front of a church and gassed people without their consent to enable it, eh?

The founding of American law, is based upon Life, Liberty & Property. Take any one or a combination and you can justifiably get your ass shot(instant), or hung by the neck until dead(courts).

Gaslight that again... but rephrase it this time.

Remembering, Life, Liberty & Property. Who drew first blood?

Going back to your original post, you said:

"If you are a Free person, you can say NO, without retaliation from any man or woman.

I was just wondering, specifically, what you used to be able to do that you can't now.

Muzzles... how ironic. Now we're all compelled to wear muzzles... for our own putative good.

You get to have freedom and liberty as long as you don't affect others. Like not wearing a mask in these pandemic days. If you don't wear a mask, you affect others negatively, so the rest of us, via our elected government, will force you to not harm the rest of us. Your freedoms and liberty are not unlimited. You live in a society, not in anarchy.
