Too bad he doesn't mention that they are letting criminals out of jail. And when criminals get caught and arrested they are released with no bail. That they are limiting what the police can do to keep known criminals free.
Imagine that, the jailings have decreased. I'll bet if you don't pull people over for speeding there'd be a dramatic decrease in reported speeders. Huh, funny how that works.

let everybody go and don't arrest anybody. pretty soon you can have nice clean prisons that run like clockwork without hardly an issue.
Why not save the taxpayer a boat load of money and tear down jails altogether? Create Law Free Zones and be done with it. That's what these Mayors have essentially done for BLM and Antifa. You can also get rid of the Police and D.A.'s too.

I like the idea of Law-Free Zones! We just have to make sure the criminals who live there don’t flow out into the neighborhoods bound by laws. Thus, we need to put high-wire fences around them. Let’s try to minimize the space allotted, so we can build barracks where they can live, with small little rooms. And then of course they won’t be able to support themselves, as they’ll run out of food to steal and no supplier will want to stock there, so we will need to deliver three squares a day.
