Almost daily now we’ve been reading about how daily deaths from COVID-19 have reached record highs. It’s a scary prospect. But the truth is the mainstream press is grossly misleading the public by misreporting the death counts.

Here’s a typical report, from USA Today a few days ago: “As the outbreak continues to surge across the southern states, Florida, Texas and South Carolina set records for new daily deaths, reporting 156, 129 and 69, respectively.”
Quote:
The CDC notes that its more recent daily death counts are certainly too low because it takes time to record the deaths as being due to COVID-19.

“It is important to note that it can take several weeks for death records to be submitted to National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), processed, coded, and tabulated,” the CDC says.

In other words, we have no idea how many people are actually dying from COVID-19 right now, and won’t have that information for weeks.

So, the media and Democrats are lying as usual.

Are you not even paying attention to your President? You believe every word he utters, why don't you believe him now when he just said "it's going to get worse, unfortunatly, before it gets better"? He has brought back his COVID briefings after suspending them for 3 months. Hell he was actually seen for the first time wearing a mask, a total departure from his previous position.

It is purposeful to extend the lock down and economic pain until the election, and perhaps beyond. The Democrat/Media alliance is killing this country.

In an average year, over 230k Americans die every month, the leading cause of death is heart disease, certainly preventable. Yet, there’s no noise over these deaths, no all lives matter, so please stop with your fake outrage, use your brain, and put things in perspective.

And my post is not to say we shouldn’t be taking reasonable precautions to reduce the spread.

It must be hard to go through life only looking on the worst side of things. How about these numbers:

330 million people in the country (not counting all the illegals)
1,887,486 already recovered from Covid 19
1,872,811 currently recovering from Covid 19
47,224,392 tests done to date
779,975 average test per day over the past 7 days
8.3% average positive tests (not illnesses, tests)
10% W.H.O. target average

And we will never know for certain how many of those deaths were actually from the virus since anyone that tests positive and then dies for any reason are recorded as Covid deaths. My guess is that the actual death numbers strictly from Covid are closer to 20% less than what reported.

This is nothing more than a bad Flu if that. What a waste. Thanks Media and Democrats!

Dr. Irwin Redlener, a nationally-renowned pediatrician, and a top expert on disaster preparedness who directs the Pandemic Resource and Response Initiative at Columbia University’s Earth Institute, fears 800,000 to 1.5 million of us DEAD by November if we don't get our act together. He's a liberal who thinks states need to shut down again to prevent that. (Interesting he names the election month, rather than December.) From this layman's viewpoint, I don't think so. We are getting our act together. Masks do work. More people are masking up. More is being learned how to better treat covid.

Yep, it's like back in 1918. Much ado about nothing.
