Sure, if they want to go to a federal prison to share same cell with former top cop in Los Angeles County, Sheriff Lee Baca; or former top cop in Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio.
Certainly not the police, who are under fire from liberal mayors.
Not the National Guard- they support the feds and the military.
Who would they send? Social workers?

I remember 2 years ago when Los Angeles mayor and LA district attorney sent a letter to DHS requesting ICE and CBP federal agents/officers to remove “police” identifier from their outer vest carrier during immigration enforcement operations in LA. They even threatened to arrest CBP/ICE agents and officers for impersonating police officer.
Fast forward to 2020 ICE and CBP still have police on their outer vest carriers.
All the violence and destruction and assault and stuff that's happened... it never really happened. It's fake news. All the hipsters here are all calm sipping their Pabst and this whole Portland thing is just all made up.
