Antifa, BLM, and other anti-Police / anti-Fed factions variously want the Police defunded, dismantled, or want the entire Federal Government overthtrown.
If that's what they want, then that's what they want.
Given that, they can't logically or morally expect to advance these agendas while depending on Police and Federal Protection to do so.
Which effectively means that they shouldn't want or expect any protection whatsoever.
Protection won't be there once law enfrcement is dismantled, anyhow.
So why wait?
They need to walk their talk before demanding that others live without the protection of law enforcement.
Their platform means that they should reject protection on moral grounds.
Essentially framing their existence as that of an active (violent) anti-government militia who is purposefully acting outside of the law:
in terms of respecting the law's protection of others against whome they act violently and the law's protection of them.
They should reject protections under our system because that's what they are advocating and rioting for: the dismantling of law enforcement.

Yes, all the way to their prison cell under a life sentence, OR, the gallows for Sedition when applicable (most cases).
No. They should have sticks of explosives stuck down their pants (BLM and Anitifa) and blown to bits and we can watch them make America Happy Again by exploding! Since they love putting everything on Facebook, we will make sure their demise ends up there for everyone to see.
With no police to protect them, it seems like it would be BLM and Antifa season (with no consequences) for a lot of well-armed Americans who are tired of seeing their country destroyed. Is there a bag limit on BLM or Antifa and is a license required?
No sane person wants "the benefit of police protection".
