There was no permit for this "protest", it was just terrorists in the streets that picked the wrong person to attempt to intimidate and fortunately now there is one fewer of them.

You have no right to attempt to take over streets and harass motorists just trying to go about their day. Anyone who attempts to take over a street and threaten motorists deserves whatever happens to them. The ONLY time protesters belong in the streets is when it has been authorized ahead of time and the streets are closed to cater to them.

Sorry, I have no sympathy for a mob of terrorists supporting a communist cause.

Absolutely!!! Especially in this case where there were no permits issued for the protest so the roads were not closed.

Who in their right mind will blame the car driving on a road, where it SUPPOSED to be driving. How is that the driver was trying to run people over when the deceased himself said on video on an interview prior to the protest, that he was told that the police wont allow them to protest on the streets.

Get the F off the streets if you don't want to get run over. Only idiotic Liberal logic believes they are immune to protest on street roads and then blame the cars for being there and have the audacity to think they are right. You got alot of those idiots here in Austin.

Are you in habit of driving over people who walk on the street?

All protests, including Tea Party, are on local roads. Some get permits, and some don't. I do not know if these guys had a permit, and I doubt the shooter did either,

Me, I just take another route. No need for anyone to die.
Then the "brown shirts" win, and YOU lose. Eventually, they will block every route as you give in, i.e. "capitulate", i.e. "surrender", to them time after time. You are, in essence, abetting them. A tactic taken right out of "Rules for Losers", companion boot to "Rules for Serfs and Peasants".!

The legal case can only go one way because it's Texas and this is a clear cut self defense scenario.

Those would be a good start. What do you think?
I live in Austin, most of the year and have pasture and woods for my cows & hunting property in Gonzales County.
Art Acevado, our old Police Chief(Now Houston's) corrupted and militarized the APD, bringing his California Socialist Police State here. It has only worsened after he left.

Qualified Immunity is where it all ends. It is what brings LE back to their only mandated job. Protecting & Securing your individual rights.

But there is a catch. Police chiefs are hired guns for the City Manager(corporation) They are not hired to protect your rights. They are hired to protect the interest of the corporation they work for. They will violate your rights in a heartbeat, using their authority unlawfully.

The Sheriff & Constable are the only LE elected by the people, to protect and secure individual rights.
Police protect the interest of the Corporation and can only bring Civil charges. The State has to bring criminal charges.

They have body cams. Scream! " I invoke my right to SUBROGATION" and then Shut The **** Up

I can't find the video within showing him driving like this. The main video shows him at best crawling forward in the crowd. There's one additional embed to a protected tweet. Is that the video?

edit: oh, not a protected video. I've somehow been blocked though I've never interacted with them. #freespeech

There may be a civil case, but no charges will be filed by the State of Texas, and the man has his firearm. Like St. Louis, the DA can do what she wishes, if they want to dig a hole for themselves, legally.

It's actually pretty sad. Someone is dead and at the end of the day and all political bickering aside. None of this is worth someone dying over. Stupid and dumb, all of it.
