Now mother’s are saying he is transphobic and should be fired. One teacher (who posts public hatred against Trump and his supporters but gets no consequences for it) is starting a campaign for people to write letters to the school to educate him. But many are saying he needs to be fired immediately. Ruin him and his families life over a different opinion?

I find it downright disheartening that simple words uttered by another can cause people to react in such vehement, over-the-top ways. There is nothing in our Constitution that protects ears from the words of another ... no matter how offensive. The punitive desire to strip people of their livelihood because they said something you didn’t like is so anti-American it’s a travesty.
I wish people would grow up and behave like the adults they are.

No, he should not be fired. It's his opinion, and he is entitled to it as much as these other people are. I would argue he is probably not transphobic either. That's just silly. Kids should consult many resources before making such a drastic decision.
While I don't agree with most extreme SJW comments, they should not be fired either. We are all entitled to our opinion without the fear of being physically harmed, which loosing a job does. It is essentially an assault on free speech.

Friends, many many people in this page have expressed strong views about the anti-transgender postings retweeted by Public Information Coordinator, It is time to take action and by action, I mean to collect thoughts and feelings to send to the administration. My connection to is very personal as I am class of 96, Daughter is a freshman and my husband has taught there for 20 years. It is my responsibility to let the administration know what folks in this group have seen and how they feel about it, ESPECIALLY the young voices. Please do not recommend actions that you want the school to take. Let's give them the opportunity to make corrections. I am asking you to put some thoughts together that I can share. Please either post your comments in a statement below that I can copy and paste, or send me an email at gmail.com. You may share with others who may like to weigh in. Above all, we are working together to bring this to light and it has come from multiple young people who are uncomfortable being represented by a person publicly displaying these views. There needs to be education at the very least.
