The funny thing is he might take votes away from Trump, if anything. He's certainly not going to make a dent into the black vote, most of whom aren't going to forget the stumping for Trump and his comments about slavery being a choice.
Imagine the irony if the election is close and Kanye costs Trump the election!
There are a lot of people who voted for Trump in 2016 who are not pleased with the results yet they will not vote for a Dem so Kanye is a good protest vote. But few black Dems will vote Kayne not with the opportunity to elect a black woman as Veep.
I have no idea why anyone cares what a celebrity thinks, especially in as fragile state as West is.
