Trump is physically dismantling the USPS. Mail trucks are being hauled away in the dark of night, mailboxes hauled away or locked, sorting machines are being removed. Staffing is reduced and those in upper management have been removed. The P.O. employs veterans at very high levels and they are facing joblessness. Trump is the most petty and vindictive president since Nixon and he may easily surpass him.

The attack on the Postal Service goes beyond the issue of mailed in votes. Trump's effort at vote suppression is a serious issue but he is intent on punishing Americans in any way he can. He feels unloved... he knows he will lose the election. Americans have turned against him and his paranoia and psychopathy is gaining the upper hand. His intention to hurt blue states - as we saw earlier in the coronavirus pandemic - has expanded to a national vendetta. Destroying the P.O. is one way to harm all those ungrateful Americans...reach into their homes. His motivation goes beyond the voting suppression. He has built a wall and no-man's-land around the fortress White House. His failure to adequately respond to Covid19 and his willful misinformation contributes to the 170,000 deaths so far.

This is only mid-August. We have five more month of this.

Only reason Trump is crying so much about Mail in voting is because he is losing in the polls. If he was winning he wouldn't care about mail in votes.

LOL.

Liberals burn down their own local post offices in Minneapolis, both the Lake Street and Minnehaha stations, yet have the audacity to then complain they are not receiving their mail (e.g., government stimulus checks) in a timely manner.

We are not prepared and have enough time to have a national election and expect the postal service to handle that much time dated mail. Dumping zillions of our dollars on them NOW still can not make the postal service reliable enough to get it done, Anyone with a brain knows this but people wanting to mess with the election returns favor it 100%,,,,,,Maybe by the next election in 2024 we might be able to do it.......

What ID do you show at the grocery store? I run my credit card and my store card through the scanner, but the checkout clerk never looks at them. Please cite the store(s) where you have to show ID or I call BS.

Voting is not like buying wine. Buying groceries is. That is why no ID required for either, food and democracy.
