Im was doing some reading on the origins of words and interestingly found that 'legally'...once a sentence has been completed, the person can NO LONGER be referred to as a 'felon'!!

He was a felon. He previously committed felonious acts.

So once a person serves their time for rape they can no longer be referred to as a "rapist"?? Got it.

Absolutely YES!


The 'second chance' is one of the founding principles of the US system of justice!!


Holding someones past crimes over their head (for the rest of their lives) is very Un-american.
