Of course. Florida is a closed Primary State. You have to be a registered Party member to vote in either Republican or Democratic Primaries. Independents CANNOT vote in a Primary.
There is nothing on the envelope, or inside, on Florida's General Election Absentee Ballot indicating Political Party Affiliation.
I voted 9 of the 10 years I lived in Florida by Absentee Ballot. No questions asked.
