You can't even tell the truth anymore. He should never apologize for this. Tell anyone who feels insulted to call a wambulance. WAHH!!

One perk of the NHL bubble, according to Milbury: “Not even any woman here to disrupt your concentration”

A Forbes article actually cited some evidence that he's right about that. It's playoff time and you need to be 100% on your game.

Can't believe Millbury went there, and there is nothing truthful about it. Give his job to Ave.

I am being sarcastic by the way. But Ave's ratings would go through the roof.

Milbury’s been saying insensitive things for years. He’s like American TV’s version of Don Cherry. Not surprised he got canned.

He didn’t say anything derogatory. He stated an opinion.

He should not even of went there. It was an off color remark, not his worst ever, but one last one that did him in. For years the Players, GM's and Owners have not cared for the guy and the league finally put pressure on NBC to say "that is enough".

Free speech just lost again.

The latest guy to get canceled by Corporate America. You people ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

As a woman, I don't find it offensive at all and he is quite right about it.

There were a few NFL players that tried to sneak women into their team hotels (one was dressed as a team member). Those players are now unemployed. Women are a distraction to me before a big sporting event (that works both ways, BTW).

I think you have the wrong impression of the context in which he was speaking. It was about the players being in a bubble away from their wives and girlfriends. You say you are a women, do you feel your a distraction to your husband or bf?

Shouldn't every woman feel they're a distraction to their man?

I say we should go after the idiots making these decisions to fire people and demand their termination and maybe this insanity will cease.
