BREAKING: The Biden Campaign rejects the recent endorsement of American neo-Nazi, anti-semitic conspiracy theorist and white supremacist Richard Spencer, who has helped further the alt-right for the last several years. https://t.co/X9WvwOtRpzhttps://twitter.com/girlsreallyrule/...932407298?s=20
I have made this point before and I'll repeat it here - there will be some right-wingers who'll find Biden - an old, white, senile, maybe sexist, they think he's racist, male - acceptable because they are hurting from the Trump economy.
Biden has cross party appeal. This is one example.
.
This thread seems go beyond Biden/Trump... he's talking about Beto and Texas politics here.
Richard Spencer yes even though he is a white nationalist. Politically he is a lefty. He does not believe in right wing ideals and has more common with the left than he does. Also Spencer disavowed Trump in 2017.
Biden's campaign forcefully disavowed Spencer's endorsement shortly after, describing him as being part of the "vile forces of hate who have come crawling out from under rocks" in the US.
Andrew Bates, the rapid response director for Biden's campaign, tweeted that what Spencer stands for is "absolutely repugnant," adding, "Your support is 10,000% percent unwelcome here."
That still doesn’t change who he found philosophical similarities with.
You mean the "Hail Trump" speech?
