GoFundMe doesn't have any problems taking donations for criminals like Jacob Blake and Rayshard Brooks. But they won't help a teen who was just defending himself.

GoFundMe, one of the most popular and widely used crowdfunding websites, has taken down multiple fundraisers for Rittenhouse...

GoFundMe forbids people from using the platform to raise money for “the implicit or explicit purpose of or involving for the legal defense of alleged crimes associated with hate, violence, harassment, bullying, discrimination, terrorism, or intolerance of any kind relating to race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, serious disabilities or diseases, financial crimes or crimes of deception,” according to the terms of service.

He’ll get plenty of private donations, but yes, it’s ironic that disobeying police orders can result in a massive payday.

Imagine the person you called the police on for breaking the law, is now far richer than you.

GoFundMe bans legal defense money, it isn't a double standard because neither of the above two got money for legal defenses, one is dead and the other has seven bullets in him. If they wanted to properly do it they should have done it like the Fund that helps bail protesters out, which is in a way giving money to support someone's legal defense but i'm sure that could be a loophole. It seems clearly political though even if the rules are clear.

Several of them are dead, and one of them has 7 bullets in him and is paralyzed from the waste down. What do you think he's gonna do with that money, purchase a car he can't drive?

Yes, disobeying cops has consequences. And now their families get to retire on the beach because it.

Not a bad life insurance policy. Is your family getting $14 million when you break the law?

1. The paralyze legs are are not confirmed to be permanent.
2. He can buy a house he otherwise couldn't afford
3. He can hire a team of lawyers he couldn't afford, to fight all charges

You really think he didn't benefit from this? How many blacks are in jail right broke because they didn't resist arrest?

Im sure Rittenhouse will be thankful to everyone who donated, inmates can buy things from jail supplied list, if he is going be behind bars for decades, he will need all the donations he can get.
