Yes but why do we see it far too often? Is it happening more? Or is is that the media cover it more extensively? How many white men get shot by the police? It definitely happens. Anyone remember Kelly Thomas? White homeless man murdered by police, but the media barely covered it.

At first blush, I thought what you did. I think the article may be poorly worded. It seems like they weren't on top of the guy and were afraid he'd pick up the gun and use it against them.
If people want to know who is instigating these protests and whatnot, now you know.
As of now, there is no video evidence as the officers were not wearing bodycams.
But ultimately, as I have touched upon several times in the past, it doesn't matter to some people if in fact the man punched an officer and was reaching for a gun. To these people, NO reason is justifiable for police to use deadly force on a Black person these days.

And? A man armed with a semi-automatic handgun assaults a police officer. Stupid should hurt. Guess what? Just because you're black doesn't mean you can commit vicious acts with no consequences. Perfectly reasonable for him to become leaky, rather he's black, white, yellow or green. Only difference-if he were white, ignorant morons wouldn't riot and loot in his name.
