Yes Trump is a bit self serving. His ego is huge and it needs to be stroked often but that huuuge ego of his simply won't allow him to fail. He genuinely wants America and all its people to do well and he was succeeding until the virus hit.
What is wrong with MAGA if it lifts more people up than ever before? Does it really matte if Trump is doing it for the credit and extra pats on the back?
The man is like any other, he just wants to be liked.
No one needs to be liked that much. He really is like no other. He is in a class by himself.
He uses the us to line his family’s own pocketbook in ways far beyond other politicians. No “but Clinton” argument.
MAGA is great in concept by horrible in execution. If i felt America was stronger in the world order, or if Americans were mostly doing ok then I would have no problem voting for trump or supporting him. Well except I’m pro choice and it’s an issue I feel strongly about, so maybe not.
I do feel strongly that he is a horrible human being and should not be the leader of this country.
His staff members? Really? Have you heard a single general or ranking military officer defend him? How about a former cabinet official? Didn't think so. Where is Lindsey? The GOP? Not many, if any, standing up for how caring he is. As for the "hoax", give it a rest. The story has been confirmed by multiple news organizations.
The silence from some quarters is pretty deafening.
But we have John Bolton on record saying it’s exactly the sort of thing that Trump would say.
Trump better hope none of the anonymous sources step up and verify the account.
I read a CNN article on this topic, and they said "CNN independently confirmed" the quotes in question. WTH does that even mean? It's like admitting that the story is fake news.
It's what these Trump-hating news media did for the three years of the Trump-Russia hoax. One fake news story would cite unnamed sources, another news media site quotes the same people, spewing the lies.
You see, for the left, repeating a lie long enough makes it true, at least for the simpletons who believe their lies anyway.

We have Bolton literally saying "I was there for that discussion, I didn't hear that."
Bolton only offered his biased conjecture that it's possible Trump could have said it hours, days or months later, but his comments are irrelevant, what matters if facts and the truth, not Trump-Russia collusion era conjecture.

Yes, military officers must get involved in partisan politics! Nothing could go wrong.

Bolton lies. The anonymous sources are always right and must be trusted.
He keeps repeating the "Very fine people" lie, too.
It's what he does.
Biden lied on at least two occasions about a man named Curtis C. Dunn. Dunn was the tractor-trailer driver who, in 1972, tragically struck and killed Biden's wife and his infant daughter. Along with many other news outlets, the Huffington Post, in 2008, described the accident this way: "Delaware's Senator-elect would face a more difficult challenge soon after his election, when a drunk driver struck the car carrying his family, killing his wife Neilia and daughter Naomi and severely wounding sons Hunter and Beau."

I didn't hear it either!
