That would be a reasonable assumption ... the real question is ... are Biden/Harris reasonable to even suggest that a Vaccine is not valid unless THEY announce it?

The CDC and the FDA are NOT controlled by President Trump, regardless of what Biden/Harris say..
They are playing a very dangerous game.

One one hand Harris and Biden is screaming about all those deaths due to Covid. Then they say the vaccine can't be trusted.duhhhh.....

Gee , Trump sure gets around. He single handedly created the vaccine, spread the virus in Wuhan , brought it here, made Cuomo put all those sick covid patients back into the nursing home , and sent all those rioters out there to burn and loot and murder. Wow. Single handedly did all that and much much more.... they think he is God to be everywhere all the time.

He did none of those things. He simply did too little for too long... which is the worst thing he could have done.

In case you missed it, Trump has been indicted by our United States Congress for abuse of power Dec 2019. He tried to get Ukraine to investigate his primary political opponent for his own benefit.

So now you're wondering if Trump is trustworthy not to find a way to bend the pandemic and the treatment/vaccine to his re-election benefit.

Fool you once, fool you twice.

Harris' comment is equal to most Americans polled. They trust Fauci and medical experts and not Trump. His recommendations carries no weight. Ultraviolet light and disinfectant comment probably swayed them a bit.

Only 14 percent of voters said they would be more likely to take a coronavirus vaccine if President Donald Trump recommended it
, according to a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll.

Voters were far more likely to say they'd take a vaccine based on the advice of their family (46 percent); the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (43 percent); or the government's top infectious disease expert, Anthony Fauci (43 percent). One-third said they would be more likely to get vaccinated if the World Health Organization encouraged Americans to do so.

"We, the undersigned biopharmaceutical companies, want to make clear our on-going commitment to developing and testing potential vaccines for COVID-19 in accordance with high ethical standards and sound scientific principles," the statement said.

The statement comes amid increasing concern among public health officials, scientists and doctors that the White House might bring significant political pressure to bear on the Food and Drug Administration to approve a vaccine before the Nov. 3 presidential election.

OP - Let me ask you this - would you trust Trump on it? Would you take the vaccine he is going to make available on November 1st? Answer in YES or NO only.

Scientists working on our vaccine want to tell Trump to shut the heck up. This is why Harris doesn't trust Trump:

---------------

Experts inside and outside the government still say they fear the White House will push the Food and Drug Administration to overlook insufficient data and give at least limited emergency approval to a vaccine, perhaps for use by specific groups like front-line health care workers, before the vote on Nov. 3.

“There are a lot of people on the inside of this process who are very nervous about whether the administration is going to reach their hand into the Warp Speed bucket, pull out one or two or three vaccines, and say, ‘We’ve tested it on a few thousand people, it looks safe, and now we are going to roll it out,’” said Dr. Paul A. Offit of the University of Pennsylvania, who is a member of the Food and Drug Administration’s vaccine advisory committee.

“They are really worried about that,” he added. “And they should be.”

Mr. Trump relentlessly touts progress toward a vaccine, raising hopes of quick approval. Touring a North Carolina biotechnology lab last week, he vowed to “deliver a vaccine in record time.” In a tweet last month, he explicitly tied vaccines to his re-election hopes.
