As a Jewish person, I find your minimization of Hitler and the SS to be offensive.
When Trump starts gassing people to death until there are huge piles of dead bodies all over the country, please get back to me, and then we can talk about how "Trump is Hitler".
As a Jewish person, I find your minimization of the clear and present danger posed by the President of the United States, amplified with a documented personal history of antisemitism, to be disturbing.
There is nothing new under the sun. I think that the framers of the Constitution could conceive of a tyrant like King George III arising, but they couldn't foresee fascism, or the appeal of a monstrous leader like Hitler, who so many in Germany followed wholeheartedly, for their own enrichment and advantage, out of their own prejudices, or out of fear. It never occurred to them that the majority of the Senate would go along with the tyrant, because there was something in it for them, personally. It's very unlikely that Trump ever read history, stayed awake in history class, or even attended class, but he is following Hitler's game plan to a "T". Hitler knew that violence was a crucial tool to his attaining power. He sent his "Brown Shirts" to provoke street battles with Communists (this was the Left Wing at that time) in left wing areas of the country, then proclaimed that only he could bring calm, and law and order - and he was right, because he could call off his Brown Shirts, who were deliberately provoking the violence.
Trump is Hitler. The "Proud Boys" are his Brown Shirts. Trump's call to them to "stand down and stand by" is a direct acknowledgement of them as his Brown Shirts, and also a threat to use them, violently, if he is not re-elected, in order to stay in power by force.
This is the greatest crisis our country has ever faced. It all began with Reagan's having abolished the FCC fairness doctrine, which mandated equal time for opposing political viewpoints in broadcast media. This led to a 24/7 flow of right wing hate speech, (most famous of the early ones was Rush Limbaugh), which proliferated to the point of Fox News. The other root of it was Reagan's tax cuts for the rich, which has led to another Robber Baron Era, and the doctrine that corporations and the rich don't have to pay income tax - in fact, if they're paying income tax, they're either failing their investors, or just plain stupid. It's led to our country being seriously divided, with the right wing armed, and finally, the left wing beginning to arm itself, too.
Trump will win less than 50% of the vote, and lose the electoral college, if his Supreme Court doesn't stop the counting before all the ballots are counted. He will declare himself the victor on election night, no matter what the vote count, and sue to stop the counting. No matter what the vote is, he will refuse to leave office. I am afraid that it's going to come down to the military, whose rank and file is drawn equally from the Christian Right, who see it as their heritage and their Right Wing duty, and Black and Hispanic underclass, who see it as an economic opportunity. Neither group are doing it out of loyalty to the USA. But the top brass, who are old enough to probably have been educated in public schools (at least for elementary school), may still have a sense of duty to the USA, may remember their pledge of allegiance and their civics class, will probably step in at that point and take over, and remove Trump physically from the White House, hopefully to put him in a military jail cell. I don't think the Secret Service will lift a weapon or a finger to protect him. The problem is, once a military coup has occurred, it's very, very difficult to move back to a civil government. I doubt that the generals would so easily hand over power to Biden, the true winner of the election, knowing that his legitimacy would likely be vehemently disputed by Trump's supporters, potentially a very vocal and armed-to-the-teeth substantial minority. So they'll stay in power indefinitely. And power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely, so we can reasonably expect that one general will seize absolute power, and hold on to it. Hola, Argentina.
Your post is intellectually dishonest and patently offensive.

Nice try. You just wasted time you will never get back, by writing this summary.
And you're doubling down now? WHAT is wrong with you that you don't understand how offensive it is to the Jewish population when comparisons to Hitler/Nazi's/Holocaust are made?
You just have to realize that some people are so mentally compromised that they actually believe enforcing borders is the same as gassing Jews. They simply can't help themselves, they are not competent to have these kinds of conversations.

One woman I had known for 30+ years called me a racist and a sexist because I didn't "like" her Trump-hate FB posts. She talks to aliens from the Pleiades and is a gun owner, but wants mental health checks for new gun owners and does not see the irony there.
Have they done anything as a group? Certainly nothing in comparison to what the left does to innocent people daily.
They beat up Antifa terrorists on numerous occasions, and that's why the far left hates them. It's hard to terrorize people when you keep getting beat up.
