Liberalism, like most of America's problems, is to blame for the sub par performance of blacks.
At this point, I have to agree with you.
But that's the thing: liberals have changed radically over a relatively short period of time. They used to be open-minded and tolerant. 15-20 years ago, it was possible to talk to them, to discuss issues, etc. Now, you either agree with them or they cancel you.
And I'm not even a conservative on many issues. But this election cycle, it's not about liberal vs conservative anymore, it is about America as a repected, powerful nation vs the chaos. So, yes, Trump 2020. Of course Trump 2020.

Is this true in your face to face life, with family and friends, or is that what you're seeing ONLY through media/social media reports? By and large, can you have polite discussions with the liberals you actually know?
Because I can.
And I can have polite conversations with right wingers, too.

Mainly on social media. But there are real people behind their screens, you know. Social media is part of real life nowadays and what happens there shouldn't be dismissed as unimportant. It can have and has had very real consequences on people's lives.

You are not very likely to be friends with people with totally different values and family tend to have many things in common even if they disagree strongly about politics. That is why it is not hard to have polite discussions.
That is often true for strangers too, but on social media it is the strongest voices that is heard, and they often like to shut people down and insult people. Those people exist in real life too, but most of the time they do not have the power to do anything. When they do have the power, then you can see them driving speakers off campus, screaming in someone face at a plane and yelling at professors demanding them to be fired.
I saw that earlier today on Twitter - notice how the other blacks on the plain didn't bother supporting her - they knew she was a wack job.
Thank you. Anyone attempted to turn this into "let's complain about how bad Blacks are" will find that this won't apply. Other Black people on the plane were not on her side. I bet some were ridiculing her behind her back.

And yet not a single one intervened. Not even one told the black drama queen to stop her nonsense.

I watched the video. No one, Black or White got up in her face to stop her. Most people were likely afraid to go near her. I'd be afraid to get near her. It would likely end in violence. When a woman on a Philadelphia buss was told "stop hitting your child", said woman got her boyfriend and some relatives to shoot at the bus. No one got hurt, but this is why some people are afraid to confront anyone.

To be fair, I was on a flight with a crazy like that (with my luck, in the aisle seat directly across from my aisle seat) who went on a stark-mad rage. Everyone on that flight knew instinctively that you don't tangle with mentally deranged people (and the woman who is the subject of this thread qualifies), and remained quiet. For that, I am sure the attendants were appreciative. In that case, like this one, security was summoned and the crazy person was escorted off.
Now if someone goes on a lunatic rant DURING a flight, not sure what is done.
