To be fair, I doubt you could. Or 99% of the people critical of him.

A lot of momentum for peace throughout the Middle East is building, with pressure on Iran to eventually come around - with the added leverage of the sanctions. I sure hope Biden, Harris, and the anti-Israel Party don’t win and derail it.

DD, The Middle East is always fundamentally in a stale mate, (I'm assuming) we basically all recognize that.. but to me the perspective on these agreements should be, are they net positives, or negatives, toward cooperation/peace, no matter how small (?)

And the problem is that question can't be contemplated by a lot of the American public bcuz these deals are being obfuscated by media outlets hostile to Trump. U say this deal is overhyped (?) By which (so called) mainstream media outlets (?) Which ones are hyping Trump as a celebrated peace maker ? NBC news is cynically using the word peace in quotes, like they're Dr Evil describing a laser.. peace

More from the article and this is also KEY.

Only time will tell, but it may be that the road to Middle East peace must travel first through the Arab nations before it can come to the Palestinians.

If so, Donald Trump will have demonstrated to the world that despite everything, he has earned the Nobel Peace Prize, by doing what no leader, American or otherwise, has been able to achieve, despite decades of effort.

Peace ALWAYS had to travel through the Arab Nations .... I’ve said for years that until the Arab League pushed for Normalization with Israel and accepted that not only does Israel exist, but that Israel is doing MUCH better than they are - would any progress be made.

Something few understand .... we have been using the same negotiators with the same failed policy for decades. These people have made a Career and a darn good living off of the “ Palestinian Issue”. The Palestinian Leaders have become Multi-Millionaires while using the people as Cannon Fodder. The Arab Leaders enabled these people so their own people would be distracted and not push for reforms in their own Nations. Only one Arab Leader has ever done a darn thing for Palestinians and that is the King of Jordan ... they repaid him by trying to take over Jordan.

There are now younger leaders in these Arab Nations and they have young subjects that want Modernization in their Countries. The internet has changed the dynamics- these young subjects want to live in the 21st Century, not in the 19th Century.

Obama kicked this all off .... he decided to Ally with Iran & Hizbullah agsinst the Sunni Nations. It was a major Wake-Up Call, as was the death and destruction of Syria.

Once this train leaves the Station ... the other Arab Nations and eventually the Palestinians will want to be on board. They are finally going to join the 21st Century. Only the Iran Alliance will be against Prosperity and Peace. The Iran Alliance ( Iran, Syria, Hizbullah)wants to rule over them all with Terror.

And killing Soleimani didn’t do anything of note. Yes, he was capable, but Iran has dozens of capable military men and Intel officers. The United States isn’t capable of crippling Iran’s ability to do anything that they’ve been doing. Anyone believing otherwise is prime to be suckered by hubris.

I know better.
Only Shia might believe that. Mostly Shia outside of Persia.

The so-called "Palestinians" general populace, isn't interested in making war with Israel. They are mostly interested in living a decent life, raising their childred, and not being bothered by anyone else.

It's the "Palestinian" government that wants to make war with Israel, and basically to annihilate them. The Pal govt has been a major source of trouble, strife, and death for decades. Including them in ANY negotiations aimed at bringing peace, has been the mistake of every govt that has tried... until now.

The Sadat-Begin Egypt Treaty was historical x1000 more important than today's get-together.
