You don't really get it. Although I'm sure there are some "DJT loyalists," most of the people who vote for him do not vote for him as a person, but for the policies he is likely to implement and the principles he stands for. Same applies to Biden and Commie Harris... I do not vote against them because of them personally. I vote against them because I loathe what they stand for and believe in and will do once elected. It has nothing to do with them personally and everything to do with their policies.
But as I said, you probably don't get that. For folks like you, it is a popularity contest for the PERSON and nothing much to do with what they are going to inflict upon you. Personally, I'd vote for a sex robot from Japan if I thought she'd enact policies that I supported. I don't care as long as she's standing up for the republic as founded.
Again: NOTHING to do with the person and EVERYTHING to do with policy. I don't care about the person.

I know this will be about the most unpopular thing that has been written in this forum, but medicare and social security are two socialist programs that should never have been introduced in this country to start with. They are excuses for government money laundering operations and a big piggy bank. The government has no business meddling with retirement or health care. I've been paying into that system for 40 years and if I'd had that money invested in a legitimate investment, I'd be wealthy today. But, rather, I've been funding crap government programs via my own labor.
