Dems are feeling the heat from Trump and to me they may be panicking a bit. They know this won't come anywhere close to being passed. It's the feeling that they feel they have to do something, but they don't know what else to do. I could be wrong - but that what this seems like to me.

Could you imagine any of the provisions mentioned below offered during an Obama Administration with a Republican Congress... to give them oversight over Obama & Holder? Heck no.

The Hunter Biden report came out yesterday - and what they are doing here seems related. They have no control over what's happening. The leakers are gone. They are totally in the dark. They don't know what's coming next.

House Democrats roll out anti-corruption package aimed at curbing presidential powers

House Democrats rolled out a package Wednesday to strengthen Congress’ oversight authority and curb executive powers, taking another legislative shot at President Trump ahead of the looming November election.

...
One provision would require the sitting attorney general to record all contacts between senior Justice Department officials and the White House, an effort to crack down on perceived executive and political overreach on the justice system. Democrats have repeatedly accused Attorney General William Barr, the nation’s top prosecutor, of being a lackey of the president.

Others would provide more protections for whistleblowers — another result of the bitter impeachment fight — and curb the president’s powers to fire an inspector general without sufficient reasoning and an earlier notification period for Congress.

Another provision aims to bolster Congress’ “power of the purse” by limiting the executive’s ability to block or manipulate mandated spending and require that national emergencies be reviewed by lawmakers on Capitol Hill before being announced by the president.

These three provisions mentioned are all about the Dems being scared because they have no control.

They can't respond ahead of time to anything coming from the DOJ.

They can't control the spin from people posing as whistleblowers who make up stories that would damage Trump.

They can't control the response to the rioters when Trump determines they are a national danger. They would rather enable the rioters inflict damage on the country.

The closer we get to the election, the more anger, violence, full blown TDS we will see from the left.

It's going to get uglier.

So much for unity from the deranged left - and hooray for temper tantrums, rioting, more killings, more divisive rhetoric. Thanks Dems.

And anyone who denies this is a damned liar.
