To believe that these ex-military "leaders" would favor Biden/Harris over Trump is totally insane! It's also unbelievable that they actually believe the false comments in the Atlantic!

I find it laughable how any military folk can support someone like Biden who has voted or helped shape US involvement in countless wars that have led to the deaths of thousands of American troops.

Trump isn't in it for the money, or to be likable! I don't like his personality, but I give him credit for being a great president! And will vote for him AGAIN! America AIN'T ready to become a communist state!

It's crazy that you think that anyone that opposes Trump is "deep state" whatever the hell that means.
you know what it means. we can call it washington dc status quo if it makes it more understandable for you. its a thing and its bizarre democrats want these people to continue screwing all of us.
but then I guess figuritive pillow biting is a core lib ideology so...

The argument here is that the generals are upset because there aren't enough wars, not vice versa.

Get your stories straight, because you can't have it both ways.

I'm guessing OP realizes that 200 is a very small percentage of that population making it not that big of deal. Retired military love those cushy government jobs, out of the military drawing that check, into a federal high level GS job, retire from that or as someone says have lined up a job with a military contractor due to their "connections" prior to leaving the military. I saw it happening. These men/women are looking out for #1 and are no better than the others focused on what the POTUS could do for them, and to heck with the country as a whole.

There are 231 generals currently serving in US military, so 200 retired generals is certainly NOT a small number.

"Our enemies no longer fear us..." what is that supposed to mean? That we no longer topple regimes?

"We came. We saw. He died. Hahahahahaha." ---Hillary Clinton about the Libya invasion

Is that the foreign policy we are supposed to prefer?

More than 200 retired generals, admirals endorse Biden, including some who served under Trump

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/202...LDyZSHHIIFIVCU

"Our allies no longer trust or respect us, and our enemies no longer fear us," the former officers and officials wrote in a letter released Thursday.

WASHINGTON — More than 200 retired generals and admirals endorsed Joe Biden for president in a letter published Thursday, saying he had the character and judgment to serve as commander-in-chief instead of President Donald Trump, who has failed "to meet challenges large or small."

Some of the officers who signed the letter supporting Biden had retired only in the past few years, including Air Force Gen. Paul Selva, who served as vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff under Trump before he retired in August 2019; Vice Adm. Gardner Howe, a Navy SEAL leader who also retired last year; and retired Adm. Paul Zukunft, who oversaw the Coast Guard until 2018.

The list of signatories featured 22 retired four-star military officers, among them Navy Adm. Samuel Locklear, who oversaw all U.S. forces in the Pacific from 2012 to 2015, and Adm. Harry Ulrich, who commanded U.S. naval forces in Europe during President George W. Bush's administration.
Trump is not perfect by any stretch, but to say that Biden would be a better President and Commander-in-Chief is insane and shows that these generals, admirals, etc. have very poor judgment, shows they have sour grapes, shows that they're loyal Democrats, shows that they likely weren't loyal to Trump in the first place, or they dislike Trump getting us out of wars...which hurts the military industrial complex, which employs many of these military retirees, or has them on their Boards!
