He makes local ordinances ineffective by removing authority to enforce it with fines.

Yes, I believe his order strips local governments of any authority to make calls of their own. Miami-Dade had the strictest restrictions of all FL counties under their Republican leadership, but with this power-grab, all the shots are being called from Tallahassee.

I don't think local mandates have to change, but fines for not wearing masks, etc. can no longer be imposed.

The fact that he is opening bars and restaurants without any restrictions is a problem since they were responsible for many prior infections, with 3,000 new infections and 100 deaths per day this seems premature. They just went under a 5% infection rate a few days ago so we will see.

I guarantee you I have a much higher chance of dying in a plane crash than I do dying from COVID.

I'd have a much higher chance dying from someone killing me in Florida than dying from COVID.

I MEAN THIS: Anyone want to put money on me leaving Florida in a body bag from COVID? Put your money up or shut up. Lets exchange CashApps. Trust me, if I die from COVID, I'll have a handler send you some dollars.
To DiSantis- blood on your hands and GOD will add the score.
To visitors: you may not die of covid, but you may cause others to get sick or die--- stay home or go to Arizona---

Florida has the second worst state record per capita for the virus.(3,253 per 100K).

LOL.....DeSantis has done an amazing job --- he's almost at number one.

The mayors of the big cities Orlando, Miami area are livid- he pulled a Trumpian move and announced openly without input or a meeting for the leaders of the cities in advance... His A++ is grass on Nov 3 ---ADIOS to the bootlicker !
