It was dumb to go to the riot.
It was dumb to bring a gun.

But if you were being attacked would you take the beating or would you use any means necessary to save your teeth and possibly your life?



Would we be looking at this case any differently if the kid had used a rock to fend off his attackers?



Mistakes were made on both sides of this scene and I hope the kid can get off. I don't think he is a hero and it is kind of weird that his mom received a standing ovation but I don't think he should go to prison.
