It depends where you live and what the rules are. I'm not paranoid, but I'm hesitant to go anywhere because of the idiotic mandates and rules. It is mandatory to wear mask at all indoor public places where I live, so the majority of the businesses enforce it and it is really hard for me to be at these places and deal with it. You are supposed to wear a mask at any bar armor restaurant when you walk in, and can take it off once you sat down, and the have to wear it again if you want to go to the washroom, you are supposed to wear a mask when you are in the movie theater the entire time, airlines made masks mandatory, gyms want you to wear a mask all the time unless you are actually on the machine, today I got an email from the snowboarding resort that I've been going to every year saying that they will require everyone to wear a mask while on premises the moment you exit your car, except for when actually going down the hill, so basically on the parking lot, in line for the lift, on the lift.... even though our bylaws say you only have to wear a mask inside. So yeah, I don't want to deal with this and don't want t be yelled at, judged and treated like a prisoner by the businesses that I'm giving my money too. Unfortunately, I don't know if I can get back to enjoying anything I can.

'Back to normal' is accepting the fact that a virus is not political, i.e. a virus does not pick & choose based on one's political persuasion.

Back to normal for many will be accepting the fact that a virus was misused as an excuse to assert control.

I'm posting this in P&OE because knowing CD, it will turn into a political discussion

Yes, we are living in the new normal already

COVID will be with us a long time for many reasons; time to be vaccinated, anti-vaxers, how long vaccines protect and mutating virus and more novel viruses in bat population are just a few
Unless of course Joe Biden wins the election ... then normal will resume on NOV 4.

No way that they would relinquish the control they have obtained so easily.

Did they serve ice with the Kool-aid that they’re serving up?

I think that I missed my Spanish Flu vaccine shot.

Also, it is bizarre that we haven't been wearing masks to guard against it this entire time.

After all, there's no getting back to normal. The Blue Wave experts said so.

Vaccinate everyone, and forever-masks and social distancing is our destiny.

Until after the election when Biden's Presidency magically cures the United States from plague (at least insofar as the press coverage is concerned).
