I'm not quite sure what the two choices are meant to imply or specifically refer to. Even though I know that I'm meant to get it. That being said.

The question seems to imply that, in addition to anything else, you can be:

A very good person with very bad ideas

and

A very bad person with very good ideas.

If ideas define the person, which they seem to unless live meat is inherently good or bad, then the character of the idea would define the person.

Ergo:

If you are a "very bad" person then your ideas must be "very bad", and vice versa.

If your ideas are neutral or "very good" then so is your person.

The duality lies in the fact that, in politics, one party will find an idea "very good" and another will find it to be "very bad". Which is generally the case when one party wishes to take something from another (property, money, or social access generally speaking).

What if you just face realities?

What does that make you?
