This whole thing is very complex and I believe there is a lot more to the story that has not yet been uncovered. Don't just take anyone's word for it (including mine) and don't go by what you read or hear on MSM - go to youtube and watch the hearings and go through the declassified documents. Read what Jonathan Turley has to say about it.

I'm sure I'm leaving out a LOT, but here is a brief recap for those who have not kept up -

DNC and Clinton paid for the Steele Dossier which was a fictitious document meant to take the focus off of her server problems and discredit Trump. A company in the UK (G5?) got involved and worked with a sub-agent who was identified as someone the FBI has known is a Russian operative since 2008.

Obama and Biden were informed by John Brennan of Hillary Clinton's plan to make it look like Trump was involved in a scandal involving Russian interference of the election. The Steele Dossier is made public, an investigation begins and Obama instructed Comey to put the right people on it.

The FBI gathered information for a FISA application that would allow them surveillance of Carter Page / Trump's campaign.

Comey wrapped up the Clinton server investigation saying they found nothing and Hillary and her campaign manager, Robby Mook, begin talking about Russia's ties to Trump and how they're meddling with the election.

In August 2016, FBI Agent William Barnett is assigned a case to investigate Michael Flynn. The Flynn investigation is referred to as Crossfire Razor which was part of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation - the FBI investigation into the Trump-Russia collusion. The Flynn case is a whole other ball of wax that is too lengthy to go into here, but the case was opened as a punitive strike and according to Jonathan Turley and other experts, should have been dropped months ago.

There is evidence that at the latest, Comey knew in September 2016 that Hillary Clinton had a plan to take the focus off her mail server issue and put them on a Trump-Russian collusion that would derail Trump's campaign. So he was aware that his investigation was based on her plan and ignored it, pushing forward with the narrative on Trump's fake Russian collusion.

Those heading up the FBI Crossfire Hurricane team working knew what they were getting about the so-called collusion was disinformation, they knew it was from a known Russian operative, and they knew Hillary and the DNC had concocted this plan to sink Trump's campaign. The people heading the team consisted of people who hated Trump, so they ignored those facts.

By December, Obama knew the FBI had come up with nothing real but informed key people on January 5, 2017 not to share that information with Trump. In that meeting were Obama, Biden, John Brennan, Jim Clapper, Susan Rice, James Comey and Sally Yates. Obama advised them on how Comey and Yates, who had been asked to stay on by Trump, could continue the collusion theory investigations and mentioned that General Flynn had had conversations with Russian Ambassador Kislyak. A conversation of this nature with an Ambassador was not unusual at this stage prior to an inauguration, and while we do not know Obama's motives for mentioning the conversation, it appears he was planting the seed that they could use this by making it something bigger than it was. Comey and Yates were aware of the conversation between Flynn and Kislyak - but they hadn't told Obama about it, which means Susan Rice did since she was the only other person who knew, and there must have been a reason she did that which would have likely been as a new avenue to go after Trump. Someone - Sally Yates says it was Comey - mentions the Logan Act, implying they could go after Flynn based on that. Comey immediately discussed the meeting with Peter Strzok whose notes state 'Biden - Logan Act'. So Yates says Comey mentioned the Logan Act and according to Comey, Biden mentioned the Logan Act. (NOTE: Trump stated during the debate that Biden mentioned the Logan Act in a meeting with Obama and others and that they had the recording, which means someone was either wired, the room was bugged or Trump was being his typical self and lying. There's also a possibility that all meetings were recorded as they have been in other Administrations, nobody thought to destroy them, and someone listened to those as part of the investigation into this.)

Afterwards, Susan Rice emailed herself notes about the meeting stating Obama wanted things done by the book, but adding that he had made it clear that certain information not be shared between transition teams. This appears to be a cya move on her part.

After Trump took office, carefully timed release of disinformation continued. Prior to being fired, Comey had ordered a launch of a special investigation headed by Mueller which resulted in disruption for another two years.

Back to the FISA application - and what has been newly disclosed:

Exculpatory evidence that would have proven that what they were accusing Trump of was not factual was ignored at every level and never shared with the FISA court. Had the FBI shared all the information they had, the FISA court would have rejected their applications for warrants for surveillance of the Trump campaign - which is why they chose not to share it.

An investigation of the FISA application by Inspector General Horowitz uncovered 17 errors including falsification of information and the altering of FBI documents. It was so egregious that the FISA court made the statement that the serious errors and falsifications leaves them wondering if other FBI applications have been reliable. And Comey signed off on the report and under testimony could only say, 'I don't recall', 'I don't know', 'I wasn't involved in that', etc. He even testified that he never asked who the source of the disinformation was - so he wasn't aware it was a Russian operative - and that there wouldn't be a need for him to know who the source of the information is.

During the investigation of Trump, concerns were raised with Comey about the bias of the team when text messages between Peter Strzok and Lisa Page were made public, but Comey assured everyone that no bias existed against Trump and they were running an unbiased investigation.

Comey testified under oath, as did others who signed off on the FISA application - that they would not have signed the FISA application today given the problems with the application that they swore they knew nothing about at the time.

McCabe had testified he knew nothing of any leaks to the WSJ about the investigation, later stated he did know, and now will not return to Congress to testify again saying it's unfair.

Democrats continue to say 'we've already gone through this - why are you going through this again?' The reason this is being looked into again is because Barr recently declassified documents proving the application that allowed for surveillance were doctored and contained disinformation from a known Russian spy working on the plan of Hillary Clinton and the DNC to usurp the election.

Comey, Sally Yates and Rod Rosenstein all testified they don't remember details, they didn't know what was going on - but they do know they wouldn't have signed off on that FISA application today.

Disclosed text messages during Flynn's case had FBI agents working on the Trump case saying they would be screwed because the new Attorney General was asking questions, so they bought professional liability insurance in case they were exposed and sued, given any upcoming investigation.

There was also a disclosure during the hearings that people working for Obama were approached and offered money if they would share information they had access to - and that this information was exculpatory but was never disclosed to the FISA court even though the FBI was aware of it.

In his last year in office, the Obama administration shelled out $36 million in legal fees to fight turning over federal records under the Freedom of Information Act. His administration set a record for number of times they told citizens and journalists they couldn't find a page that was being requested.

TLDR or I'll end with this -

The same Democrats who who went after Trump for three years over Russian collusion to impact the election, now ignore PROOF that the collusion to impact the election was between Clinton, the DNC, and a Russian operative, saying it's no big deal.

I am begging Democrats - check your moral compass if you don't have a BIG problem with this.

If you don't like source, look at actual declassified material.

https://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiep...mp-up-n2577573

So according to your own link it says this:

Ratcliffe declassified Brennan’s handwritten notes – which were taken after he briefed Obama on the intelligence the CIA received – and a CIA memo, which revealed that officials referred the matter to the FBI for potential investigative action.

So Brennan briefed Obama on some plan by Hillary Clinton to tie Trump to Russia and that info came from the CIA and was sent to the FBI. Is it illegal for HC to make up false stories about Trump? Trump has been saying for over a year Joe Biden is tied to Ukraine and even sent Guiliani to Ukraine to find dirt on Biden.

What exactly was illegal in any of this?

It's illegal to lie to a FISA court.

Well that is how you know this whole Russia Russia thing was fake from the start. The dots only connected on one side .

Wait a minute -- you are suggesting Mueller knew and DOJ didn't.

The documents were classified to us but not the people at the DOJ.

So this administration has had access to this information for four years.

Seems it wasn't worth talking about until this week?

Yeah something wrong with that.

What's taking Barr so long -- all of you are certain there is something there -- and Trump too.
