What the right is complaining about is that if we had universal health care, then they wont get first in line when they have a hangnail or hemorrhoids. Never mind that some people are getting sent crazy $2000 bills for drive through covid test that is advertised as free.



Hey I have no problem if wealthy have their own completely private health system with all the luxury and hand holding and priority service they want. But I dont want to subsidize it for them. They want it, they pay for it COMPLETELY, plus pay their share taxes to support any public health care as part of being a citizen with taxable income. Up to them. This is done in UK and maybe some other European countries. They arent forced to use the public system, they can pony up for all the luxury they can afford. Seems in UK, even wealthy tend to use the public system though.
