In the interest of possibly adding facts, this is an extended version of a missile that was tested in 2017 - and that was already expected to be able to reach all of the US, if it works as advertised.

Larger version could mean more throw weight for a larger, cruder warhead.

Correct. And while those aren't factual, they do tend to have a relation to facts. Military analysts are some of the most obsessed rivet counters you'll find outside of Star Wars fanboys, and they have been poring over those photos. If there had been some sort of prop-making shenanigans, they would called it out.

You can't just weld together a stack of oil drums and put fins on them any more.

Trump the reality TV president—all talk and no action.
in reality, countries like NK and Iran understand that if they give up nuclear and military power, they lose all leverage. there was very little likelihood of them denuclearizing, trump or not.

the military industrial complex needs to manufacture enemies and scary stories about them to justify their existence. they profit the most when americans are in fear of external "threats".

What are you worried about? Trump tweeted in 2018 "North Korea is no longer a nuclear threat ". Of course he also said that Covid-19 was going to disappear like magic, so....

That I agree with. We might need another air craft carrier battle group because of this at the cost of a trillion bucks or so.

Look at the type of content that ASPI puts out, for instance. the reason for their existence is basically to spread FUD on north korea and china.

Then take a look at their "sponsors". raytheon, northrop, lockheed.
