It's about the mortality, it's about people with lasting damage and it's about the stress on the hospital system. We are failing.
It's about the truth and to what extent people are suffering. You have no data on the lasting affects of covid and how many will suffer from it because there isn't any data.
Hospitals overall are not stressed. You know how I know that? Because they say so. The very entities you say are stressed say the opposite. Why believe your comment?
I want Trump to explain how his plan is crushing the virus.
At the same time, cases are not skyrocketing. Our first wave (NYC, Boston, New Orleans), we did not have adequate testing capacity so we never knew how many people were infected. It was many times higher than the reported.
Our second wave (Florida, Texas, California, Arizona), we had adequate testing, so number of infected persons was much larger. But deaths were way lower.
Our third wave (midwestern states, some southern states), the cases are not higher than our second wave, our deaths will be lower as well.
Straight from Trump's mouth to your ears, maybe you can explain the 85% decrease.
Yesterday 54,232 new infections 638 deaths second to only India and you seem to think this is some type of success story.
Infections are meaningless in the scheme of things as we have tested a ton. More than any other health crisis event. Our death rate only fools those who refuse to think.
How about we do this, if the deaths in New York State in June of 2014-2019 average out to be 13000 and the death rate in June of 2020 is 16000 wouldn't logic, reason, and common sense tell us that covid caused ~3000 deaths? Why can't we go about it that way?

lol I love the qualifier "hospitals overall are not stressed" So, according to your expert assessment unless all hospitals are 'stressed' then it's no big deal?
What President Trump is doing is claiming it in the sunny in the midst of a Category 5 Hurricane.
Is he serious? Trump's behavior has gotten increasingly strange. His speeches are not even based in reality.
The truth is the cases the are skyrocketing. Each and every day, I look at the states numbers and they have skyrocketed in the Midwest and Inter-Mountain West.
No, he's not serious. He's using mind games. Say something often enough and people will start to believe you. This has been his presidential strategy from day one.
