Not true.

And again, the topic is the United Nations and not the United States.

IMO, the United Nations is a useless organization that has outlived its usefullness.

IMO, there is every likelihood that the United States will suspended our monetary contribution to this organization within the next couple of years.

It is time to give that piece of real estate back to the people of NYC.

Let the un move elsewhere if it chooses - such as your country.

Your statement is false

And the topic is the United Nations.

You are trying now to post off topic.

Should the UN be eliminated TD?

Only when the US gets disbanded first.
Or when the EU (European Union) accepts the rest of the world (with the exception of the US because they disbanded the UN) into their organisation, which probably will never happen.

The un is not useful in the grand scheme of things TD. They are not keeping the peace as they say they would. They clearly ignore their peacekeepers illegal activities such as raping and killing those they are suppose to protect. They are not delivering humanitarian aid. They are not delivering the food they are suppose to.

In other words - they are not doing anything.

We do not need the useless un anymore.

Only totalitarian governments 'keep' the peace by threatening with unproportional violence or life long prison sentences and / or education camps.

Then, why does the useless un have "peace keepers"?

Hmmm. Any fraud in Iraq? Any rapes...and even murders? How about torture? And how about $3 trillion...for what again? The UN is a shining example of humanity and selfless efficiency in comparison to what we've got going on right in our own back yard. Maybe we should do a little cleanup here before being so pompous as to go around poking others with a sharp stick over nothing nearly half as bad...

Because the US doesn't have them.
The US military are already looking odd at how the Dutch military does their mission; the Dutch always make contact with the local population and ask them what they need.
This is the main reason why the Dutch refused to be in the Iraqi invasion force, they didn't wanted to be associated with the invaders, because it would make our mission much more difficult.

This thread is not about Iraq

It is about the un

The un peacekeeping force is suppose to go into countries like Darfur and quell the violence. To offer humanitarian aid. Yet - they have not quelled the violence and they have not provided humanitarian aid - the "peacekeepers" have raped and pillaged the villagers though

Yeah - the useless un - not worth contributing to IMO -
