This post is propaganda. No one thinks fossil fuels are used only by cars.

Additionally, fossil fuels aren't directly used for most of the products on those lists. Petroleum byproducts are. Plastics, rubbers, tars, oils, etc.

Reducing usage of fossil fuels is simply reducing our dependence on oil and other carbon based fuels. It doesn't eliminate it.
